Section I-1717 - Use of Drug Affecting PerformanceA. The use of a stimulant, depressant, or anesthetic in a manner that might affect, or tend to affect, the racing performance of a horse is prohibited. (Stimulants and depressants are defined as medications which stimulate or depress the circulatory, respiratory, or central nervous systems.)La. Admin. Code tit. 35, § I-1717
