Section V-1107 - Authority to Make Emergency ProcurementA. Any state agency may make emergency procurements in accordance with R.S. 39:1598 and R.S. 39:1600(E), when an emergency condition arises and the need cannot be met through normal procurement methods. Prior to all such emergency procurements, the chief procurement officer or his designee shall approve the procurement.La. Admin. Code tit. 34, § V-1107
