A. The regulations in this Chapter establish requirements for radioactive mineral tailings, piles and ponds and byproduct piles containing radioactive material from industrial processes in concentrations in excess of 1x10-7 microcurie per gram ([MICRO]Ci/ml for liquids). As used in this Chapter byproduct means any material produced, other than the primary product, in an industrial process. The provisions of this Chapter are in addition to, and not in substitution for, other applicable provisions of: 1. these regulations; and2. any specific license issued pursuant to LAC 33:XV.330.La. Admin. Code tit. 33, § XV-1101
