Section XI-3109 - Criteria for Appeal [Formerly LAC 28:LXXXIII.3109]A. LEA superintendents or charter school leaders shall notify the LDE in writing of any changes to existing school configurations and newly opened schools no later than the 15 day appeal/waiver window during the first year of the reconfiguration and school opening. All school closures must be reported at the end of the schools' last academic year of operation.B. LEAs may petition the SBESE in instances not addressed by policy or in instances when the policy is unclear.C. An appeal shall be filed by the LEA in order to receive monetary rewards for any eligible closed school.La. Admin. Code tit. 28, § XI-3109
