Section XI-101 - School Accountability [Formerly LAC 28:LXXXIII.101]
A. Every school shall participate in a school accountability system based on student achievement as approved by the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (refer to R.S. 17:10.1).
B. Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), which reauthorized the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act, a states accountability system must apply the same high standards of academic achievement to all public elementary and secondary school students in the state and result in continuous and substantial academic improvement for all students.
