Section CXXXIX-3301 - Charter Operator Complaint Procedures for BESE-Authorized Charter SchoolsA. Each charter operator shall maintain a complaint procedure through which parents, guardians, or other individuals or groups can appeal to the nonprofit corporation board of directors to address any issues or problems such individuals seek redress to.B. Charter operator complaint procedures should, at a minimum, address any forms that must be completed by a complainant, the progression of a complaint, and the timeframes for consideration and action.C. The department may investigate a parent complaint it receives about a charter school authorized by BESE, and the charter operator shall provide information requested by the department to aid in such investigation.La.
