Section CXXXI-1521 - Out-of-State Principal Level 2 (OSP2)A. An out-of-state principal level 2 (OSP2) is valid for five years initially and may be extended thereafter for a period of five years at the request of an LEA. 1. Eligibility requirements: a. hold or be eligible to hold an OSP1 certificate;b. completion of Louisiana PRAXIS requirements for school leaders or qualify for exam exclusion in accordance with R.S. 17:8.4(A)(3) by fulfilling a minimum of four years of successful experience as a principal in another state, as verified by the out-of-state employing authority or SEA. B. Renewal Requirements. Individuals who are employed in a leadership capacity must meet the standards of effectiveness as an educational leader, in accordance with §103 of this Part, during the validity period of the OSP2 certificate for at three years during the five-year initial or renewal.La.
