Section CXXI-2101 - IntroductionA. In the high school civics course, students broaden and deepen their understanding of the origin, structure, and functions of government. This course is designed to provide students with both the practical knowledge about how the American system of government functions on local, state and national levels, as well as an understanding of the philosophical and intellectual underpinnings of our constitutional republic.La.
