Section CXV-709 - Transfer of Student RecordsA. The principal shall provide for the transfer of the education records, including special education records if applicable, of any current or former student at the school upon the written request of any authorized person on behalf of a public or nonpublic elementary or secondary school within or outside of the state of Louisiana, where the student has become enrolled or is seeking enrollment. 1. The transfer of such records, whether by mail or otherwise, shall occur not later than 10 business days from the date of receipt of the written request.2. If a student has been expelled, the transferred records shall include the dates of the expulsion and the reasons for which the student was expelled.La. Admin. Code tit. 28, § CXV-709
