Section I-169 - Burial Furniture and Physical RemainsA. Burial furniture and physical remains removed from an Indian burial site and unclaimed by a legal heir shall be recorded in the central state archaeological survey files and shall be afforded the same protection as other state-owned antiquities that are in the control and possession of the commission. Such items may be deposited in educational institutions and accredited museums under the care of a deputy custodian designated by the commission.La. Admin. Code tit. 25, § I-169
