Section I-107 - Manner of Investigation-Minimum StandardA. Investigations undertaken on state archaeological landmarks must be carried out in such a manner that the maximum amount of historic, scientific, archaeological, and educational information will be recovered and preserved. Such investigations must involve the exclusive use of standard and accepted scientific techniques of excavation, recovery, recording, preservation, and analysis. New or unusual techniques, and the use of earth moving machinery, must be approved in the contract. All measurements will be recorded using the metric system.La. Admin. Code tit. 25, § I-107
