Section III-8301 - EligibilityA. To be eligible for payments from the Innocence Compensation Fund pursuant to the provisions of R.S. 15:572.8, a petitioner must have been awarded compensation by the district court in which the original conviction was obtained, and the parties have exhausted their ability to have the judgment reviewed by the appellate courts.La.
