Section I-1709 - Public HearingsA. The Board of Commerce and Industry shall conduct a public hearing on an application for exemption that receives the recommendation of the secretary of Economic Development who, personally or through his designee, shall present his recommendations to the Board of Commerce and Industry. After due consideration to all facts and testimony, the Board of Commerce and Industry shall determine whether or not the approval of the application should be recommended to the governor and to the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.La.
