NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS Chapter 350 in pertinent part, requires the cabinet to promulgate administrative regulations pertaining to noncoal mineral operations to minimize their adverse effects on the citizens and the environment of the Commonwealth. This administrative regulation provides for the payment of permit fees.
Section 1. Permit Fees. (1) Each application for an original permit, amendment, renewal, and transfer shall be accompanied by a permit fee.(2) The permit fee shall be twenty-five (25) dollars for each year of the permit term. For amendments and transfers the fee shall be assessed for the years remaining in the permit term. The permit term may be for one (1) to five (5) years.Section 2. Method of Payment.
