Section 28-35-316 - Warning devices
(a) Each location designated as a high-radiation area and each entrance to the high-radiation area shall be equipped with easily observable flashing or rotating warning lights that operate only if radiation is being produced.
(b) Except in facilities designed for human exposure, each high-radiation area shall have an audible warning device that shall be activated for 15 seconds before the possible creation of a high-radiation area. The warning device shall be clearly discernible in all high-radiation areas and all radiation areas.
(c) All barriers, temporary or permanent, and all pathways leading to high-radiation areas shall be identified as specified in K.A.R. 28-35-219a.
