Section 110-13-2 - Designated regionsEach of the following Kansas county groupings shall be designated as a region:
(a) "East central region" means Douglas, Franklin, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, and Wyandotte counties. (b) "North central region" means Chase, Clay, Cloud, Dickinson, Ellsworth, Geary, Jewell, Lincoln, Lyon, Marshall, Mitchell, Morris, Ottawa, Pottawatomie, Republic, Riley, Saline, Wabaunsee, and Washington counties. (c) "Northeast region" means Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Jackson, Jefferson, Nemaha, Osage, and Shawnee counties. (d) "Northwest region" means Cheyenne, Decatur, Ellis, Grove, Graham, Logan, Norton, Osborne, Phillips, Rawlins, Rooks, Russell, Sheridan, Sherman, Smith, Thomas, Trego, and Wallace counties. (e) "South central region" means Butler, Chautauqua, Cowley, Elk, Greenwood, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Marion, McPherson, Reno, Rice, Sedg-wick, and Sumner counties. (f) "Southeast region" means Allen, Anderson, Bourbon, Cherokee, Coffey, Crawford, Labette, Linn, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson, and Woodson counties. (g) "Southwest region" means Barber, Barton, Clark, Comanche, Edwards, Finney, Ford, Grant, Gray, Greeley, Hamilton, Haskell, Hodgeman, Kearny, Kiowa, Lane, Meade, Morton, Ness, Pawnee, Pratt, Rush, Scott, Seward, Stafford, Stanton, Stevens, and Wichita counties.
