Appeal from a decision granting or denying a waiver shall be in accordance with the procedures provided in Iowa Code chapter 17A. An appeal shall be taken within 30 days of the ruling. However, any appeal from a decision on a petition for waiver in a contested case proceeding shall be in accordance with the procedures for appeal of the contested case decision.
