Rule 875-84.19 - Settlements

A contested case may be resolved by informal settlement, and settlements are encouraged. Settlement negotiations may be initiated at any stage of a contested case by any party. The board shall not be involved in negotiation imtil a written proposed settlement is submitted for approval, unless the parties waive this prohibition.
