Rule 701-201.5 - Permit not transferable-sale of business

Permits shall not be transferable. The owner of a business holding a permit that sells the business shall cancel the permit, and the purchaser of the business shall apply for a new permit in the purchaser's own name.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 423.36.
