Rule 661-553.1 - Civil penalty-when applicable

Any person who commences an electrical installation subject to inspection pursuant to 2007 Iowa Acts, chapter 197, and who fails to file a Request for Permit and Inspection form with the board within 14 days of commencing work on the electrical installation may be subject to a civil penalty. The amount of the civil penalty shall be no more than $750 and shall be determined by the chief electrical inspector.
