Rule 61-9.54 - [Effective 12/18/2024] Application requirementsApplicants shall submit applications to the section in the form and manner prescribed by the section. Applications shall be available upon request to all interested parties.
(1) To be included in the review process and considered for funding, an application shall be received by the section by the designated due date. Applications shall be submitted to the section in the format prescribed by the section. An extension of the filing deadline may be requested of the victim service support program prior to the deadline and may be granted for good cause. If the victim services support program administrator denies a request for extension, the applicant may file a written appeal to the chief delivered within seven days of the date of denial, stating the reason(s) for reconsideration of the request for extension of the deadline. The determination of a good cause extension by the chief shall be final.(2) An applicant shall have on file with the program current copies of the applicant's table of organization and, for all private nonprofit programs, articles of incorporation as required.(3) An applicant shall have on file with the program evidence of any insurance coverage the applicant carries for liability or property.(4) The program may allow combined applications from two or more local or stateside government agencies if a combined application will encourage cooperation between those agencies on behalf of crime victims, as determined by the program.
