Rule 501-10.4 - Curriculum for training modulesSix modules consisting of 12 to 16 hours of required training topics per module will be developed by the academy. The training modules will include curriculum and training materials for each topic. Curriculum and training materials will be provided by the academy to all reserve officer candidates via the online learning management system and to agencies with academy-approved instructors. Training modules will be updated no less than every three years. Approved training module curriculum shall include the following topics:
(2) Module B. d. Interviews and interrogations.e. Role of emergency communication.(3) Module C. b. Collision scene control.e. Recognizing impairment.(4) Module D. c. Introduction to crime scene.(6) Module F. b. Practical skills testing in the areas of defensive tactics, vehicle stops, precision driving, and report writing.Iowa Admin. Code r. 501-10.4
