Public or private health agencies are eligible to participate as screening centers when they have the staff and facilities needed to perform all of the elements of screening specified in 441-78.18 (249A) and meet the department of public health's standards for a child health screening center The staff members must be employed by or under contract with the screening center Screening centers shall direct applications to participate to the Iowa Medicaid enterprise provider services unit.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 249A.4.
