Rule 441-77.12 - Behavioral health interventionA provider of behavioral health intervention is eligible to participate in the medical assistance program when the provider is accredited by one of the following bodies:
1. The Joint Commission accreditation (TJC), or2. The Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), or3. The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), or4. The Council on Accreditation (COA), or5. The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), or6. Iowa Administrative Code 441-Chapter 24, "Accreditation of Providers of Services to Persons with Mental Illness, Intellectual Disabilities, or Developmental Disabilities." This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 249A.4.
