Rule 441-74.4 - Financial eligibility

(1)Countable income. Individuals are financially eligible for the Iowa health and wellness plan if their countable income is no more than 133 percent of the federal poverty level, as of the date of a decision on initial or ongoing eligibility.

(2)Household size. For financial eligibility purposes, household size shall be determined according to the modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) methodology.
