The department will follow all special policies and procedures for using and disclosing protected health information as outlined in 45 CFR Part 164 as amended through December 31, 2023, including the minimum necessary standard, uses and disclosures for premium rating and related purposes, verification and documentation requirements, notice of privacy practices, the right to receive an accounting of disclosures, complaint procedures, appeal rights and record retention.
