For authorizations established in this chapter , a one-year extension may be issued if the applicant does not meet the requirements for authorization conversion or renewal. The applicant shall secure the signature of the superintendent or designee of the applicant's employer and shall submit all required materials before the extension will be issued. This one-year extension is nonrenewable
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 272.31.
