Sec. 10.
As used in this rule, "local anesthesia" means a transient and reversible loss of sensation in a circumscribed portion of the body produced by:
(1) a local anesthetic agent; or(2) cooling a circumscribed area of the skin. The term includes subcutaneous infiltration of an agent.
