Section 844 IAC 13-1-10 - "Under the direction and supervision of the licensed acupuncturist" defined

Sec. 10.

"Under the direction and supervision of the licensed acupuncturist", as referred to in this rule with reference to ADS, means that the supervising physician or affiliate licensed acupuncturist shall be reasonably available and responsible at all times for the direction and the actions of the practitioner being supervised when services are being performed by the practitioner. The patient's care shall always be the responsibility of the supervising physician or affiliate licensed acupuncturist.
