Section 760 IAC 1-6.2-13 - Education hour

Sec. 13.

(a) A prelicensing or continuing education hour is based on a one (1) hour block of time. Fifty (50) minutes of instruction in a sixty (60) minute period of time will constitute one (1) credit hour.

(b) Education credit hours will be approved in not less than one-half (1/2) hour increments.

(c) One (1) education credit hour is the minimum number of hours that will be approved for any prelicensing program or continuing education class. Eight (8) hours of classroom instruction per day is the maximum number of hours that will be approved for any prelicensing program or continuing education class.
