Sec. 5.
(a) The division may require all regulated amusement devices to be tested as set forth in 685 IAC 1-2-5 [675 IAC 31-2-5] . A letter of the results of the examination shall be: (1) maintained on site with the affected regulated amusement devices; and(2) made available to: (A) the director of the elevator and amusement safety section; and(B) any inspector; of the division upon request.
(b) Any regulated amusement device damaged by a breakdown or in a highway or midway accident shall comply with the nondestructive testing section, Section 8, of ASTM F 846-92 (2003), as set forth in 685 IAC 1-2-5 [675 IAC 31-2-5] , when the division deems it necessary in order to determine whether or not the regulated amusement device is capable of operating in compliance with this rule.
