Sec. 128.
Change SECTION G2403 as follows:
(1) Change the title of SECTION G2403 to read as follows: SECTION G2403 (202) GENERAL DEFINITIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CHAPTER 24 ONLY.
(2) Change the definition of APPROVED to read as follows: APPROVED means, as to materials, equipment, appliances, methods of design, and types of construction, acceptance by the building official by one (1) of the following methods:
(1) investigation or tests conducted by recognized authorities;(2) investigation or tests conducted by technical or scientific organizations; or(3) accepted principles. The investigation, tests, or principles shall establish that the materials, equipment, appliances, methods of design, and types of construction are safe for their intended purpose.
(3) Add a sentence to the end of the definition of BOILER, LOW-PRESSURE to read as follows: This definition is not applicable to boilers and pressure vessels regulated pursuant to IC 22-15-6.(4) Add the following to the end of the definition of MODULATING: NFPA 58.
