Section 646 IAC 5-1-12 - "Political subdivision" defined

Sec. 12.

(a) "Political subdivision" means a:
(1) county;
(2) city;
(3) town;
(4) village:
(5) school; or,
(6) sanitation, utility, reclamation, improvement, drainage, irrigation, flood control, or similar district.
(b) Organizations such as libraries and hospitals may be integral parts of cities, counties, or other political subdivisions. If so, coverage of the organization would depend upon the coverage of the political subdivision of which the organization is a part. The organization may be a political subdivision itself, or it may be a private nonprofit organization.
