Sec. 6.
(a) "Assessment" refers to the process of gathering and interpreting information regarding some aspect of a student's: (6) functional; performance.(b) Norm-referenced assessments are standardized on a clearly defined group and scaled so that the score reflects the student's performance when compared to the normative group.(c) Criterion-referenced assessments are: (1) designed to determine whether a student has reached a preestablished level or standard of performance; and(2) generally developed with a hierarchy of skills.(d) Other assessment procedures include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) Samples of academic skills.Indiana State Board of Education; 511 IAC 7-32-6; filed Jul 14, 2008, 1:24 p.m.: 20080813-IR-511080112FRAReadopted filed 11/6/2014, 3:23 p.m.: 20141203-IR-511140382RFA
