Sec. 1.
All assessing officials shall be entitled to a mileage per diem for attending new official training and continuing education classes. The county fiscal body shall designate a mileage per diem. If the county fiscal body fails to designate a mileage per diem, the assessing official is entitled to reimbursement as provided in the state travel policies and procedures established by the Indiana department of administration and approved by the Indiana state budget agency.
