Section 465 IAC 2-17-26 - Health and medical services or treatment

Sec. 26.

The department will pay for health and medical services or treatment, including prescription medication, directly to the service provider, on behalf of children within the department or probation's system of care who are placed in foster care through a CPA if:

(1) Medicaid denies a claim; or

(2) the child is not Medicaid eligible and private insurance is not available or does not cover the costs of services or treatment.
