Section 440 IAC 1.5-1-3.5 - "Attending physician" defined

Sec. 3.5.

"Attending physician" means the licensed physician who has the overall responsibility and authority for the management and care of a consumer. The term includes another physician to whom the attending physician has delegated responsibility when the attending physician is unavailable.
