Sec. 8.
As used in IC 10-17-13.5, "traumatic brain injury" means a medical condition characterized by a disruption in the normal function of the brain that can be caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head, or penetrating head injury that has been diagnosed by a qualified medical professional.
