Section 410 IAC 3.2-1-27 - "Primary care visits" defined

Sec. 27.

"Primary care visits" means a child's outpatient visit with an approved health care provider that is conducted in accordance with recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics and includes the following:

(1) An initial assessment of health problems.

(2) A health history.

(3) Measurements.

(4) Sensory screening.

(5) Developmental and behavioral assessment.

(6) Physical examination.

(7) Medically necessary procedures, including immunizations.

(8) Appropriate discussion.

(9) Referral.
