Sec. 9.
The following methods and materials are approved for use in connection with animal slaughter in connection with certified organic animal production:
(1) Animals must be treated humanely during loading, unloading, shipping, holding, and slaughter.(2) Slaughter must be affected under sanitary conditions in government-approved slaughterhouses.(3) Animals must be clearly identified in such manner as to preclude confusion with noncertified meat.
