Sec. 2.1.
(a) The following animals may not be exhibited in the state: (1) An animal that originates from a herd that is under an order of quarantine.(2) An animal that is a health hazard to persons or other animals. A determination that an animal is a health hazard may be based on any of the following:(C) A determination that the animal is showing signs that suggest the animal may be infected with or afflicted with an infectious, contagious, or communicable disease or condition.(D) Epidemiologic evidence.(3) An animal that does not meet the requirements in this rule.(4) An animal that is prohibited from exhibition under any law or order.(b) The state veterinarian is authorized to make the final determination as to an animal's eligibility for exhibition under this rule.
