Section 327 IAC 7.1-6-3 - Vehicle pumping system requirements

Sec. 3.

A vehicle pumping system must meet the following requirements:

(1) The inlet and discharge of the sewage pumps must be a minimum of two and one-half (2 1/2) inches in diameter.

(2) The vehicle engine intake manifold must not be used as a vacuum source.

(3) The pump installation must prevent leakage.

(4) All exposed connections or openings must be made watertight with caps or plugs when the pumping system is being used to transfer liquid or septage.
