Sec. 14.
(a) Prior to receiving a license as a certified operator, an apprentice shall earn cumulative contact hours based on the number of years the apprentice classification is held as follows: (1) An Apprentice I-SP and Apprentice A-SO must earn the following minimum contact hours, including the portion required to be technical contact hours: | Year 1 | Year 2 | Year 3 | Year 4 | Year 5 | Year 6 |
Total Contact Hours | 2.5 | 5 | 7.5 | 10 | 12.5 | 15 |
Technical Portion Contact Hours | 2.0 | 3.5 | 5.5 | 7 | 9 | 11 |
(2) An Apprentice I, Apprentice A, Apprentice II, and Apprentice B must earn the following minimum contact hours, including the portion required to be technical contact hours: | Year 1 | Year 2 | Year 3 | Year 4 | Year 5 | Year 6 |
