Sec. 6.
"Carry passengers for hire" means to carry or transport passengers for a passage or trip in consideration of a fare or charge. The phrase does not mean to carry or transport passengers or guests without charge or to lease or rent a boat to a lessee to be operated by the lessee as the lessee's for an hour, a day, a week, or other fixed period of time.
