Section 312 IAC 29-2-39 - "Directional well" defined

Sec. 39.

"Directional well" means a well purposely deviated from the vertical, to intersect the planned zone of production in the target formation at a projected location different than the surface location of the well specified in the permit. A directional well is not a horizontal well.
