Sec. 6.
(a) Any person who holds a valid certificate of registration as a certified blaster in another state may be granted certification as a certified blaster without examination as specified in section 5 of this rule, if: (1) the director finds that the standard for certification in the other state at the time such certificate was issued was in accordance with a blaster certification program approved pursuant to 30 U.S.C. 1253 and 30 CFR 732.13, and such standard is not lower than the standard required by this article;(2) reciprocal certification privileges are granted to certified blasters registered in Indiana; and(3) the person has made application for certification on forms furnished by the department.(b) When the director finds that the basis for certification in the other state of registration was at a standard lower than the standard required by this article, the applicant will be required to take the training and examination as specified in sections 3 and 5 of this rule, respectively.Natural Resources Commission; 312 IAC 25-9-6; filed Jun 21, 2001, 2:53 p.m.: 24 IR 3609, eff Dec 1, 2001; readopted filed May 29, 2007, 9:51 a.m.: 20070613-IR-312070146RFA; readopted filed Sep 19, 2013, 10:12 a.m.: 20131016-IR-312130125RFAReadopted filed 3/26/2019, 3:40 p.m.: 20190424-IR-312190011RFA
