Section 307 IAC 1-1-8 - "Soil taxonomy" defined

Sec. 8.

"Soil taxonomy" means the current soil classification system used in the United States as described in the book, Soil Survey Staff, 1999. Soil Taxonomy: A basic method for making and interpreting soils surveys, Second Edition USDA, NRCS Aric. Handb. 436, United States Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C., and in revisions to that book accepted by the National Cooperative Soil Survey.
