Sec. 5.
(a) Written policy, procedure, and practice provide that a system is developed and implemented by the health care authority to review and monitor health care services. The necessary elements of the system shall include the following: (1) An annual review of the health care policies and procedures.(2) A review and evaluation of the health care data, including the following: (A) Complaints and grievances.(D) Serious injuries to juveniles and staff.(E) Contagious disease management.(F) Suicide attempts or suicide.(b) As part of the review, a corrective action plan is developed based on the findings to address and resolve identified problems and concerns, including educational and training activities.(c) A report of the findings of health care review is provided to the facility administrator.Department of Correction; 210 IAC 8-8-5; filed 9/16/2022, 3:13 p.m.: 20221012-IR-210220072FRA
