Section 210 IAC 1-4-9 - Waiver of pre-transfer hearing

Sec. 9.

If the inmate agrees that he/she is in need of care and treatment at a mental hospital, he/she may sign a waiver of personal rights for this instance only. In the case of a juvenile, this waiver may be signed by the parents or legal guardian, in which case the transfer proceedings may be initiated.
