Section 760.500 - Notices by United States Maila) The administrator shall send at least one written notice by first-class U.S. Mail to each apparent owner of unclaimed property held by the administrator and valued at $100 or more.b) However, the administrator shall not send a notice under this Section by first-class U.S. Mail if the administrator reasonably believes that a mailing by first-class U.S. Mail would not be received by the apparent owner.c) In the case of a security held in an account for which the apparent owner had consented to receiving e-mail from the holder, the administrator shall send notice bye-mail if the e-mail address of the apparent owner is known to the administrator, instead of by first-class U.S. Mail.
